Executive Directors

Jonathan is a Chartered Accountant with experience in audit, financial reporting, and corporate finance. He was appointed as Chief Financial Officer of Africa Bitcoin Corporation in March 2025 and subsequently as Executive Financial Director in August 2025.

Prior to joining the Company, Jonathan was an audit supervisor and manager at Zeelie Auditors, where he was responsible for the audit of ABC since inception. He also gained experience as an audit manager at Ernst & Young, where he managed audits across a range of industries.

Jonathan holds a B.Com in Accounting and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting. His strong technical foundation, coupled with direct knowledge of the Company’s operations from its early stages, positions him to play a key role in strengthening ABC’s financial management, governance, and reporting disciplines.

Non-Executive Directors

Norma has held various roles within the Bank of Botswana. She has been the acting head of Privatisation and Restructuring at the Public Enterprises Evaluation and Privatisation Agency (PEEPA). Other roles included PPP Officer, SADC Network with SADC Development Finance Resource Centre, and as Regional PPP Consultant, African Development Bank. Her qualifications include a BA in Economics and Statistics and an MBA specialising in financial management.

Snowy previously held the role of Chief Executive Officer of Vunani Fund Managers, where her growth strategy resulted in the firm’s assets under management doubling, and has held senior positions at Absa Wealth and Investment Management, Royal investment Managers, STANLIB and Alexander Forbes Financial Services. As a representative of the G20 Empower and a member of the SAVCA Transformation Sub-Committee, she is an advocate for women’s economic representation and inclusion. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Economic Science (Wits) with a focus on Mathematics and Econometrics, a B.Com Honors in International Trade & Finance, a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning (UFS), and an MBA (Wits).

Mazvita has over 19 years’ experience across finance, investment management, development finance and transaction advisory. She is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and holds a master’s degree in development finance, as well as executive development qualifications from Duke University. Mazvita has held senior executive and board roles across investment management, private equity and advisory businesses. Her experience includes mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, B-BBEE structuring, portfolio management and governance oversight. She has led and participated in transactions exceeding R3 billion and has served on boards and board committees, providing oversight on audit, risk, strategy and investment matters.
Amanda is a transaction advisor and management consultant with over 14 years’ experience advising businesses, investors and public sector institutions across Africa and the United Kingdom. She holds an MBA from Edinburgh Business School, a Bachelor of Arts in Development Economics, and professional certifications in company direction, project management and business advisory. Amanda has advised on and structured growth capital transactions for SMEs, with experience spanning investment readiness, capital raising, transaction advisory and post-investment support. She has worked with regional investment funds, development finance institutions and governments, and has served in non-executive director and investment committee roles, contributing to governance, investment decision-making and strategy oversight.
Sibongile is an accomplished executive and non-executive director with over 20 years’ experience across asset management, financial services and operational leadership. She holds an MBA from Wits Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce (Statistics) degree from the University of Pretoria. She has held senior roles at global and local financial institutions, including in fund management, operations and executive leadership. Sibongile is the Founder of Squirrel Away and currently serves on several boards and board committees, including as Chair of an Investment Oversight Committee and as a member of an Investment Committee, providing independent oversight on investment strategy, risk management and governance.
